I’m Kendra, an Illustrator, Print maker and a Visual storyteller from the Netherlands.

Currently I’m a student at AKV St. Joost, studying Animated and Illustrated storytelling.

I’ve recently finished my Minor in Graphic Novel where I’ve worked on a Dutch language graphic novel concept called: Oma’s Wonder Zolder.

I love to create worlds and stories where you can see yourself being part of that world. Primarily focusing on fantasy worlds, I’ll take you on a journey full of places and adventures immersing yourself in that world.

Escapism also plays a huge part in my Illustrations and stories. Especially with the unpredictable times we go through now.

Bit of a “jack of all trades”, I love to experiment with my materials and how I present my stories, like using a mix of watercolors, pencils, gouache, inks and even working digitally. For my stories I’m most focused on the worldbuilding.

And then there is my comfort zone: illustrations. Though I do start to feel more comfortable in making comics and graphic novels.
