I’m Kendra, an Illustrator, Print maker and a Visual storyteller from the Netherlands.

Currently I’m a student at AKV St. Joost. Studying: Animated and Illustrated storytelling.

I’ve recently finished my Minor in Graphic novel where I’ve worked on a graphic novel concept called: Oma’s Wonder Zolder.

I love to create worlds and stories where you can see yourself being part of that world. Primarily: fantasy worlds, I’ll take you on a journey full of places and adventures immersing yourself in that world.

Escapism plays a huge part in my Illustrations and stories. Especially with the unpredictable times we go through now.

You could call me a “Jack of all trades” given that I love to experiment with my materials and how I present my stories. Even then there is always a comfort zone, in my case that would be illustrations. Though I do start to feel more comfortable in making comics and graphic novels.

At this moment, I’m diving deep into the world of Riso printing
